I believe it's time to give the "People's House" back to the people. The House of Representatives was created so the common citizen could have a voice in government. The people of the 8th District have lost their voice in the U.S. House of Representatives.

When Jim Marshall voted to elect Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House, he lost his right to call himself a "blue dog democrat". Mr. Marshall has chosen on more than one occasion to vote against the principles and overwhelming voice of the people in the 8th District. At the Warner Robins town hall meeting in August 2009, he referred to this and called it "a fall on your sword type of mission". He knew the voice of his constituents--- but, he voted against us. In that same meeting he said, "if I get kicked out for that, so be it".

As evidenced by his own words, Mr. Marshall does not represent the people of the 8th District in Washington . He can call himself a blue dog democrat "conservative" all he wants, but he cast his vote for the far left and abandoned our values when he voted for Nancy Pelosi.

It is time for the House of Representatives to become the People's House once more. It is a "government of the people and for the people". This Assistant Principal says it's time to expel Jim Marshall from Congress. We need a person of the people who understands our everyday needs and concerns. Now is the time. We can't wait on politicians---we the people must represent ourselves.

If we don't work with everything we have to take back Congress in 2010, we might as well say "goodbye" to the greatest free nation in the world. I'm ready to fight for the America our founding fathers gave their fortunes and lives for, "an America of the people, by the people, and for the people".
